Chelsea Cutler, born February 11, 1997, in Westport, Connecticut, is a singer, songwriter, and producer whose introspective pop and electronic music has earned her critical acclaim and a global following. Raised in a supportive musical environment, she began playing piano and guitar at an early age, laying the groundwork for a career defined by emotive lyricism and genre-blending production. While attending Amherst College, Cutler shared her music on SoundCloud, attracting attention for her authentic sound, and in 2018 she left college to pursue music full-time after joining Quinn XCII on tour. Her debut EP, Snow in October (2017), and breakthrough single, “Your Shirt,” showcased her ability to craft intimate, emotionally resonant tracks, leading to a deal with Republic Records. Her debut studio album, How to Be Human (2020), peaked at number 23 on the Billboard 200 and earned praise for its electronic-pop textures and introspective songwriting, followed by When I Close My Eyes (2021), which deepened her exploration of love, self-discovery, and vulnerability.
