About Collie Buddz
Collie Buddz, formally known as Colin Patrick Harper, is a reggae artist from the island of Bermuda. Collie was born in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1984. Collie graduated from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida where he took up studio engineering which propelled him into an amazing career with tremendous accolades. One of Collie’s most notable pieces early in his musical career was working alongside Shaggy, on the single “Mad Mad World” which was released in 2007. That same year, Collie released his self-titled debut album with Sony Music with tracks called ‘Come Around’ and ‘Blind to You’. His greatest radio hit at the time was ‘Mamacita’ which boasted sales over 5 million copies thanks to this hit single. Fast forwarding to his third studio album titled “Good Life”, Collie welcomed famous acts such as Snoop Dogg, Riff Raff and P-Lo. This album peaked #1 at the US Billboard Reggae Albums Chart. His following album titled “Cali Roots Riddim”, his own riddim album, Collie produced all 22 tracks and worked alongside Stick Figure and reggae producer Johnny Cosmic who mixed all of the tracks. The album includes all names in the modern Reggae space including acts such as The Elovaters, The Expendables, Pepper, The Movement, Iya Terra, SOJA, and the list goes on. Collie Buddz continues to pop off with great success, headlining at world renown festivals and grand tours taking him around the globe.
