About The Late Ones
Based in Laie, Hawaii, brothers Tui and Tau Avei came together with cousin Josh Brunson to form The Late Ones in 2012. Born in Gardena, California, the three offer an extraordinary collaboration of sound and pitch through their musical creations. The group's mixture of Samoan roots and African American heritage have tremendously influenced their conscious lyrics and graceful message. The Late Ones name pays tribute to revolutionary artists such as Bob Marley, Tupac, Jimi Hendrix, Steve Biko, John Lennon and a multitude of other modern day legends like Steel Pulse and Kendrick Lamar.. The Late Ones have brought a new dimension to the reggae audience as they preach for freedom, justice, and equality with their unprecedented music.
